L'Usage des formes

Group show / Palais de Tokyo, Paris / 2O15

The exhibition L'Usage des formes explores human ingenuity and the passionate relationship between creators and their tools by approaching the tool as a fundamental element in man’s relationship to the world. Creating a dialogue between master craftsmen and artists, this exhibition brings together craft, design, visual art and architecture. Several elements of the exhibition design I conceived were executed in collaboration with five different master craftsmen. The results comprise shelves made of hammered brass sheet, a leather curtain made of cut-outs, a thermal-wallpaper, three small glasshouses and a seating furniture.

This exhibition was conceived thanks to a partnership with the Fondation Bettencourt Schueller.
