QUIZ

A year after the inauguration of the public commission Traits d’union created for the Poirel Ensemble in Nancy, I was invited to exhibit there. Rather than showing my works, I preferred to explore a subject that has been on my mind for a while now. I therefore reinvented myself as an exhibition curator and decided to bring together for the occasion objects that resist pre-established typologies such as sculpture, the product, the piece of furniture, etc. - unrecognisable things, that are intriguing, baffling and above all allow a large amount of freedom to comprehend and appreciate them.
These things are laid out in a blue display, which I designed specifically for the occasion, covering the 1000m2 of the three spaces of the galerie Poirel. Mixed together and regardless of their categories, their power of unrecognizability comes forth.
