24h

24h is a series of LCD wall clocks whose function is not obvious at first glance. For each of the three models, the idea is to detect the details in the image that indicate the hours and minutes. In the case of 24h Linda and 24h Tanya, it‘s the woman‘s left eye that represents the minutes and the mole on her face, the hours. In 24h Paulista, a hole in the road indicates the minutes and an abandoned newspaper, the hours. When the minutes and hours are on the same axis, at 2.10 for example, the two disks form a single whole. Twice a day, at noon and midnight, the image is perfectly recomposed. Linda and Tanya are models from porn magazines. The distortion of their faces tells us what they must go through in a day‘s work.
