BDC stands for “bout de canapé” [end table: literally “end of sofa”]. The object schematically represents a slice of a sofa scaled down by 15%. In the Wild at Home exhibition, this representative of a standard interior has liquefied into a white pool, materialised by the Troublanc rug.
