Transformable Objet / Do create / 2OOO
Do Cut forms part of the collection entitled Do create, launched by the Dutch PR firm KesselsKramer. The idea was to give consumers the opportunity to act upon objects to make them work. Do Cut takes the form of an abstract totem with no obvious purpose. By looking more closely at it, the user finds that he can decide which object–a stool, a lampshade, a vase, etc.–will appear when the hollow column is cut. By destroying the object of his desire, he gives life to other objects. A saw is provided so that the deed can be done.
