Ceiling light / 2O11
We designed this lamp for Corso Bastille, which has quite a low ceiling. Using recessed spotlights was out of the question, as they make any interior look anonymous. The way EVAA is constructed is inspired by the metal grilles traditionally attached in front of fluorescent tubes. Here, the grille is convex, giving extra volume to the spotlight and muting the light by minimising the direct angle of vision towards the light source.
