Ricard regularly commissions designers to reinterpret its branded objects. Continuing with this tradition, the company asked me to design a jug and and ice tray for intensive use at festivals and concerts, which meant that an extremely resilient and ergonomic design was required. The rounded triangle shape means that the jug easily fits on cluttered tables, and its prominent handle makes it easy to pick up. The ice tray is intended to look like a yellow object frozen inside a huge ice cube. Both objects have been in continuous production since they were first made.
