The RICHARD series is a tribute to Richard Artschwager's work YES/NO from 1974 ; a black bowling ball without finger-holes onto which the words YES and NO are engraved on the opposing sides of the ball.

Today's bowling balls are anything but black and rather come in a variety of popular imagery and colors, mostly decorated with catchy slogans. The binary choice of yes or no is replaced by a continuum or multiverse of relative positions.
